About the artwork
A geometric composition articulated around a rigorous grid of triangles and lozenges, punctuated by deep blue, green and yellow accents. Continuing the plastic language developed by Raza from the 1970s, the work combines the formal rigour of Western abstraction with the symbolic charge of Indian cosmogonies, where colour becomes meditation and geometry the structure of the world.
